Grace Removals

I recently used Grace to move my personal belongings from Perth, Australia to Edmonton, Canada in July 2022. The two men who came to pack my items were very rushed and one man was seemingly angry and yelling on the phone. My ETA for my items were delayed multiple times, that’s fine though as I can be a very patient person. When my stuff finally arrived November 2022, the delivery drivers brought in boxes that weren’t mine, I had to correct them, then they brought in my boxes. I was ticking off the boxes as they were coming in, one box was missing, the drivers checked the truck again and said they couldn’t find the box. It has now been over a month since then and no one can locate my missing box. The box was an incredibly large box, and was apparently ticked off to have been on the truck. The box coincidentally contains all my family heirlooms and expensive items.. Communication and care has been appalling which is extremely disappointing. No one can give me proper answers of how often boxes are thoroughly checked off to find out where it went missing and if it may have been infact, stolen due to the items inside. I haven’t heard anything from the insurance claim for weeks. This whole experience has been incredibly stressful and heart breaking because it’s starting to seem like I’ll never get my box back. Overall a devastating experience.

We moved from the UK to Perth and they were the chosen company. I’ve dealt with Kent before and the service was much better.I do not recommend this company. Our international move has been made so stressful by this company. We’ve paid triple what we paid 6 years ago and this service hasn’t been acceptable at all.AVOID!

Do not use this company!My initial experience with Grace Removals was quite positive. They were very responsive and assured me that my goods would be shipped from Perth to Dublin within 6 weeks. However, as soon as I had paid them, their customer service changed entirely. I would have to send multiple emails and follow up with phone calls to get answers to simple questions such as whether or not I had to provide my own boxes. When I did get a reply from them, they would be dismissive and give them impression that I was wasting their time. After my goods had been collected, I did not hear from Grace for weeks. There was no communication about whether my goods had actually been shipped or if they were still sitting in Perth. It was only after many emails and calls, I discovered that there was a delay in shipping my goods. I understand that it is a difficult time for shipping and sometimes delays are unavoidable, but it was the lack of communication that irked me.After shipping my goods in August, they were finally due to arrive at the beginning of December. However, the week before they were supposed to arrive I got an email telling me that my delivery had been delayed by a month. I was also told that the person emailing me “was only the messenger” and to not complain to them. So, I initiated a complaint with Grace and received an automatic reply that someone would be in contact with me to address the issue. That was over a month ago and I have still had no correspondence from them.To add final insult to injury, when my goods did arrive in Dublin I was informed of this by being sent an invoice for additional storage charges as no one from the partner company, Careline, was available to collect my goods from the port as it was the 29th of December. When I contested this charge as it is not my fault if the partner company do not work any days in between Christmas and New Years, I was simply told that they would not collect my goods if I didn’t pay and the longer I left it, the more storage charges I would incur.I’m summary, to say that Grace have poor customer service is an understatement. Most galling of all that that it is clearly intentional as they were very courteous and responsive right up until I paid them.

When we booked our move with Grace, we were told that we would need to incur the storage costs per actual. Upon inquiring about the expected outflow, we were told by Ms. Dee that she does not know the exact number. We asked if she could give us an estimate so that we could gauge if it will be feasible to go with Grace. She replied that she cannot even give us a range but the storage is not going to be much"

Took out premium insurance for our move.The washing machine and tv unit were both damaged in the move.Trying to claim is like pulling teeth and they admitted to the damage upon arrival.Do not use Grace or their bogus insurance.

Stay away with this company. The removal guy is super rude and discrimination. Block other people’s whole driveway and access without any consultation or permission . When request to remove. The guy reacts super rude, violent and discriminating. refuse to move as well. Grace you need to educate your staff to be behave, as they represent you when they out for work.

I get Grace service to bring my boxes from Brisbane to Perth, they were great in every stage from booking to pick up. Many thanks, highly recommended.

If I could give zero stars I would. Terrible service. Terrible communication and our things still haven't been picked up yet!Our removal was booked in and then confirmed on the phone. Then on the expected uplift day no one arrived. We called Grace and were told the job had not been confirmed, even though a few days prior they said otherwise. Our lease on the house was running out a few days after the expected uplift. Grace told us they would confirm our booking (again) and let us know when they could do the uplift. They never got back to us.We called them again three days before the lease expired and they told us they were working on it and they would call us when they had a day confirmed. Needless to say they did not get back to us. After two more phone calls to Grace we finally got a date confirmed (our house lease had well and truly expired now, thankfully the landlord is very accommodating).The new uplift day came and they turned up this time... but could not take our things as they did not have enough packing materials. We were rescheduled to a week later.This time they arrived but didn't have enough time to take our things as the job before took longer than expected. Again we were rescheduled.This time, the 4th time we were expecting our things to be picked up, Grace still couldn't do the uplift as some of their staff are not available due to some bad weather.Each of these reasons individually are understandable and we would accept, but this entire time Grace has not called us once to let us know what's happening and are very unhelpful when we call them. We only get updates second hand from our old landlord.Our lease has now been expired for about three weeks. Our belongings are STILL sitting uninsured in an unoccupied house in a town infamous for break ins while we've moved out to a different town. Our landlord can't utilise his property or perform the maintenence he had planned. We've had our uplift rescheduled a FIFTH time, but they haven't even confirmed a day. Super stressful. Get a different company.

I had Sam Jason Tristan and Rory come do the uplift of our house and these guys were fantastic! Super friendly, very polite and fantastic at their job! They made what could have been a stressful day smooth and hassle free! Thanks heaps guys!
